The Best Is Yet to Come

Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go. They merely determine where you start • Nido Qubein, American businessman and motivational speaker

the best is yet to come

Simple and logical, isn’t it? And yet, most people disregard this simple fact and consider their present circumstances as something that is almost set in stone, especially if they experience hardship over a prolonged period of time.

Conditioned by their own negative beliefs about themselves and their situation, they are often unable to act since taking another risk is simply out of question.

Only a small number of those marked by life consider negative experiences as valuable lessons. They are the incorrigible optimists who believe that the best is yet to come. They are the ones who do not sit in the corner blaming the circumstances or other people for their failures and misfortunes. They are the ones who pull their sleeves ready to try out new things and new strategies. They believe in themselves and they understand that success does not always come easy.

This positive attitude can be learned and practiced by all of us.  All we need is conscious determination and the understanding that the failures of the past do not determine our future success. They are only the stepping stones to a better future.
