Stupid Decision

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. – Edmund Burke

Yesterday my heart broke in thousand pieces for the poor white mentally disabled man who was kidnapped and abused by four young blacks in Chicago. A Chicago police spokesman called this heinous, racially motivated crime a “stupid decision” made by kids…er, young adults because all four were 18 years old, and refused to call this atrocity what it really was – a hate crime.Young adults who made a stupid decision!

The media has its doubts that there was any racial motivation behind the prank. The poor man was held for two days. He was verbally abused, tortured, forced to drink toiled water, scalped, and forced to say that he loved black people. All this was filmed and posted live on Facebook.

Now, imagine if four young white adults kidnapped, abused and scalped a black person. The national press would scream bloody murder! And they would be right. Why don’t they give the same support and attention to the racially motivated crimes against a white person is beyond my comprehension.

  1. Hi Dominique,

Before anything else, I’d like to say I love your blog posts, they bring peace to my heart. Thank you for sharing, and please continue inspiring people like me to who are on the journey to enlightenment.

Anyway, I am working as a recipe curator for Raw Food Magazine. We found your Rainbow Spring Salad with Edible Flowers and Orange Dressing recipe, tried it and loved it! I thought that it
would be great to have it included in the Spring Suppers series in the
May/June 2017 issue of Raw Food Magazine. I’m sure our readers would love
it too! Would you like us to share your beautiful recipe and give it more
    exposure?

Your recipe page would include a direct link to your site from inside of
the magazine to send traffic your way.

Please let me know if you would be interested in having your work
    showcased in the next issue.

    Stay awesome!

    Blessings,

    Naida
